  • Rebecca Wood, VMD

Rebecca was born and raised in a very small town in western New York.  After high school, she attended Cornell University and earned her BS in Animal Science.  Then she relocated to Philadelphia where she attended the veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania and then practiced in the Philadelphia region for the past 6 years.  Though the great city of Philadelphia was exciting, she is happy to be back in Ithaca and call it home.

Rebecca’s veterinary interests include preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry.  She has a soft spot for small dogs and fancy cats, but loves furry creatures of all types.

Rebecca shares her home with her husband, a fellow veterinarian, her sons Forrest and Orion, and their one dog: an Old English Sheepdog named “Pollyanna”.  In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys hiking, cooking, bird watching and photography.
